I have found this site incredibly inspiring and helpful.  I will periodically post some of the links!
Here is one, today, for your viewing pleasure.

Friday night, Rob and I took down all our kitchen cabinet doors and carefully lined up our hinges and handles for re-assembly. Saturday Rob took the girl and headed up North while I painted, sanded and re-finished our kitchen.  It was an easy project, compared to most we've done, and I was thrilled to accomplish it in just a few short hours.  I realized I really do have a small kitchen.
After I got all the dirty work done, I cleaned up and headed to the jewelry store to pick up my mother's day gift, a BEAUTIFUL
blue topaz pendant.  Rob took me there earlier in the week to pick out something sparkly and I couldn't wait to pick it up!!!

After that, I headed across town to Archiver's to meet up with my friend Amy again for another night of scraping!  I got some new ideas for Olivia's party and worked on her 1st year book.

She has been really fascinated with photos of herself and other people, recently, so I am excited to share the final product with her.

Then Sunday, Rob, Miss O and I headed to the MPLS Farmers Market to seek out new flowers for my beds.  We didn't end up purchasing any but we did score a free Market tote bag for mom's day and ate some wonderful roasted corn on the cob.
As we were nearing the end of our trip, Rob asked me if I wanted to hit the Twins Game.... Of course I did!
We headed a few blocks East and found a guy selling tickets. We parked, headed in for our free mother's day earrings (got Olivia some, too) and headed to our perfect 4th row seats!  The game was amazing and Olivia was such a doll!  She entertained all our neighbors and really had the guy sitting next to me wrapped around her finger.
She was pretty tired by the end of the game and slept like a little baby as Rob and I finished putting the handles and hinges back on our cabinets.
Grandma Flanary came over to see them, spend a little time with O and we exchanged gifts, mom-to-mom.  This is her 28th and my first!  I'm so incredibly happy she is around to celebrate, especially this year!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF YOU!

Rob and his brother Derrick took our kids up to see Grandma on Saturday for a little pre-Mother's Day visit.   They took Olivia and cousin Riley up a few weeks ago too and had a really nice time.   Olivia chatted the whole way up to Garrison~makes sense since she was the only lady in a truck trapped with boys.
Rob and Derrick prepped for this upcoming fishing opener while grandma watched the little ones.  Olivia and Riley did better this weekend than the last, according to Grandma.
Olivia LOVES other kids and it was nice for them to play since they spend very little time together.  It is pretty unfortunate because they are only miles apart and an age gap of eleven months.

The boys gave grandma some plants for her garden and headed home that evening.
